This Privacy Policy explains how Bhagavadgita Shlokas (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and app. By using the service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we store on your device
Your reading preferences, saved shlokas, practice progress, downloaded translation packs and display settings are stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device. We do not upload them, and we cannot read them.
2. Information we collect
We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name, phone number or address to read the shlokas. We collect information only when you choose to give it to us — for example, when you email us for support, or when you enter an email address to receive a payment receipt.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner (Razorpay Software Private Limited). Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the gateway’s secure page and are never seen or stored by us. We receive only a payment reference, status and amount, which we use to confirm your purchase and issue a receipt.
4. Email
If you request a receipt or write to us, your email address is used solely to reply to you or to send that receipt. We do not sell, rent or share it with advertisers.
5. Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking profiles. Basic technical logs may be kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
6. Children
The service is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your rights
You can clear all locally stored data at any time from Settings, or by clearing site data in your browser. To ask about any information we hold, write to us at bhagvadgita26@outlook.com.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
