Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple is one of Kerala's most revered Devi temples, famous for its healing rituals and the Devi's three forms across the day; it is not a dedicated Śukra shrine, but its strong Devi–Śukra (beauty, prosperity, grace) associations in local devotion make it the temple used to close this trail's Venus leg.
📜 Pilgrimage history
Tradition holds the temple's origins connect to a Vaishya devotee and later Nambudiri priestly service, with the Devi worshipped as Saraswati in the morning, Bhadrakali at noon and Durga in the evening; it is also well known for the Guruthi ritual believed to cure mental afflictions.
