Why it is famous

The Sūrya Kund hot spring, where pilgrims cook rice in muslin and offer it; the first stop of the Chota Char Dhām.

📜 Pilgrimage history

Built by Maharani Guleria of Jaipur in the 19th century; the source glacier, Champasar, lies above the shrine.
