The mūrti made of navapāṣāṇam (nine medicinal minerals) by the siddha Bhogar; the pañcāmṛtam prasādam has a GI tag.

Linked to the quarrel over the divine fruit between Murugan and Gaṇeśa; the hill shrine has been a Tamil pilgrimage centre for over a millennium.
