⭐ Why it is famous
A hill shrine of Murugan on a spur of the Western Ghāṭs, famous for its medicinal herbs and the Pāmbāṭṭi Siddhar cave. It is Coimbatore's own Murugan hill and fills on Kārtikai and Thai Pūsam.
📜 Pilgrimage history
The shrine is traced to the Chola period and expanded steadily since; the name comes from the marudhu trees and healing herbs on the slope, and the siddha tradition of the hill remains alive.
