⭐ Why it is famous
A rare shrine where all four brothers stand with Rāma, and where 219 painted panels along the maṇḍapa corridor narrate the whole Rāmāyaṇa.
📜 Pilgrimage history
Built in the sixteenth century by Raghunātha Nāyak of Thanjavur, using stone from the older Darasuram works; the Nāyaka pillars carry some of the finest yāḷi carvings in the delta.
