Agnīśvarar Temple, Kanjanur
Navagraha sthala of Venus
⭐ Why it is famous
Here Śukra is worshipped inside Śiva himself — devotees offer to the mūlavar rather than a separate shrine. Sought for marriage, comfort and artistic fortune.
📜 Pilgrimage history
Linked to the sage Parāśara and Haridatta; the Chola-period temple is celebrated in Tevaram as Palāśavanam. Śukra, cursed and blinded, is said to have regained sight here.
