⭐ Why it is famous
The only Jyotirliṅga with three faces — Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śiva — set below Brahmagiri hill, from which the Godāvarī rises.
📜 Pilgrimage history
The present black-stone temple was built by Peshwa Balaji Bajirao around 1755 on a far older shrine. Trimbak is also the classic place for Nārāyaṇa Nāgabali and Kālasarpa rites.

- Sanctum entry for abhiṣeka requires traditional dress (men bare-chested, dhoti)
