The only Aṣṭavināyaka known by a devotee's name — the boy Ballāḷa — and built so the sun strikes the mūrti at dawn in winter.

Rebuilt in stone in 1770 by Nana Phadnavis; the śrī-form temple is laid out like the letter श्री.
