⭐ Why it is famous
The four-armed Kṛṣṇa of pātāla-añjana stone, thousands of weddings and tulābhāram offerings each year, and the temple elephants at Punnathur Kotta.
📜 Pilgrimage history
Worship is attributed to Bṛhaspati (Guru) and Vāyu; the poet Melpathur composed the Nārāyaṇīyam here in 1586 and Poonthanam his Jñānappāna.
