⭐ Why it is famous
Kṛṣṇa is seen only through the Kanakana Kindi, the silver-plated window said to have turned toward the devotee Kanakadāsa. The Maṭha's free meals feed thousands daily.
📜 Pilgrimage history
Established by Madhvācārya in the 13th century; the idol was recovered from a ship's ballast of gopichandana. Eight maṭhas rotate the worship in the Paryāya cycle.
