Why it is famous

Over nine lakh stone liṅgas installed across the temple grounds by devotees, around a 108-foot liṅga said to be among the tallest in the world, with a 35-foot Nandi facing it.

📜 Pilgrimage history

Begun in 1980 by Sambhaśiva Mūrti, who invited devotees to install liṅgas inscribed with their names; the count has grown every year since, turning the campus into an open-air forest of stone.
